Weihai Kung Fu Academy
We are a traditional Kung Fu school in China that teaches traditional Chinese martial arts and Chinese culture. Our academy at Shengjing Mountain is located deep in the mountains of Weihai, Shandong province and open all year round. We specialize in the teaching of traditional Chinese Kung Fu, including Tai Chi and Qigong to foreign students. Our school specializes in the following: Tai Chi, Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Shaolin Kung Fu, Bagua Zhang, Xing Yi, Qigong and Sanda.
During your stay at our academy we will provide you with 3 meals per day. A light breakfast followed by a large lunch and dinner. We are able to accomodate vegetarians and non-vegetarians. In case you have a vegan diet we recomment buying some additional food at the local markets such as nuts and seed. Most of our meals are with seasonal ingredients from the local farmers market. All our meals are eaten together with the whole Kung Fu family in our dining room. You are welcome to learn Chinese cooking from our local staff.
Our Kung Fu and Tai Chi Academy is directly beside a Taoist temple at the birthplace of Taoism. Beside the Shengjing mountain you can see a giant golden statue of the Lao Zi and if you go for a hike in the mountains you can find the original scriptures of the Tao Te Ching engraved in stone. We encourage our students to rest or take a walk during break, however we do offer WiFi as well.
The school is inside an old hotel/restaurant complex which is the ideal place for teaching Kung Fu. It allows to accomodate students in spacious rooms and for a dining area right next to the kitchen. The large property allows for many places to train in. There is a gym, a garden area with poles for balance and conditioning practices as well as many other traing utilities.
At our academy we have trained students from all over the world. Most of these students have made their dreams of learning Kung Fu come true though a strict training regimen. From their dedicated training many students have excelled beyond there expectations, this has been with the quality of their Kung and Fu and physical performance.
